I ended up winning by loading Gorgutz and some Nobs in trukks and bombing them straight through the lines (with some empty dummy trukks in the front to soak fire) and just bum-rushing the game-winning base just as they were finally breaking my lines at home. It was basically a perfect simulation of 40k kept at perfect equilibrium (as long as I focus fired down their vehicles). I was basically trapped in my base by a constant flow of Guard forces, kept at bay by some dug-in Flash Gits and Looted Wagons providing a constant stream of fire while a rally point fed an endless stream of boyz into the grinders to keep them at bay. My favorite game of DoW took place as Orks on the Guard level in Soulstorm. I wonder how on earth Gorgutz got through the Guard and Tau levels? Personally, I had hoped one of those two won.
